Congratulations to CILEx Fellow David Bull, a retired legal manager at Cheshire County Council, who was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the New Year Honours 2015. David received the honour in recognition of his volunteer services to young people in the UK and Europe through the Scout Movement.
IPS LAUNCHES ENTITY REGULATION
New and existing law firms can now apply to ILEX Professional Standards (IPS) for authorisation as a legal business. This is the first time Chartered Legal Executives can establish their own regulated businesses. One of the first Fellows to seek authorisation is Mark Winton (pictured above).
